Spring Rio Grande Turkey Hunts at Premier Ranch

2 Day Hunt – Overnight Lodging included in our Black Buck Lodge

2 Birds $1000/Hunter

Hunt the Premier Ranch for 2 great Rio Grande turkeys for 2 days, morning and evening hunts.  This is a great set up for 2-3 hunters.  If you have more than 4 hunters in your group we will place you in the Main Premier Lodge.

Day Hunt – $500/Hunter for a day hunt without lodging

Enjoy a morning and evening hunt on the Premier Ranch for 2 Rio Grande Turkey.

  • Semi-guided hunts – will be given a tour of the ranch and hunting locations. Transportation will not be provided on your hunt to and from blinds and hunting locations unless specified.  All vehicles and ATV’s traveling back and forth to hunting areas must be approved through the ranch office before arrival.
  • Meals will not be included in this package but may be added upon request for an additional fee. Please request this at the time of booking. 4 hunter minimum for meals and Main Lodge accommodations.

Premier Ranch Policies

  • Reservations are required for all hunts
  • Hunter must arrive with a valid Hunting License. Locations of purchase are available within a 25 mile radius of the ranch. Ask upon booking for available locations
  • At the time of reservations, a deposit of half will be required to book your hunt. Payment in full, 30 days before hunt
  • Payments – Checks, Cash and Credit Cards are accepted. A 4.2% transaction fee will be applied to all credit card payments.
  • Cancellations – If cancellations are made 14 days prior to booked hunt, deposit will remain active for current hunting season. Rescheduling accommodations will be made upon availability.
  • Bow Hunters Welcome.  Please let the ranch know if you prefer bow hunting.
  • All hunts will be subject to availability.  Whitetail Hunts begin in October, Quail hunts available December – early March, Turkey hunts April – May and Exotics available year-round.
  • Non-Hunter Guest Fee – $150 per day, 10 years and under, non-hunter – no charge with adult hunt.  Quail Hunters under 18 years of age hunt for $250, see Texas Quail Hunting page.
  • The hunt will be all inclusive with meals and accommodations, unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices do not include hunting license or gratuities for hunting guides or cook. Recommended amount is 15%-20%
  • Alcohol will not be provided but you are welcome to bring your own.
  • All hunts are fully guided by professionals unless otherwise stated. Guides will determine the animal to be harvested and will field dress animal.
  • Taxidermy services will be arranged with Rocking U Taxidermy in Fredericksburg, Texas, if so desired. Meat processing may also be arranged
  • Upgrades can be made at time of hunt. Including, but not limited to, additional hunting days, Trophy Whitetails, Exotics, Turkey & Quail hunts and changes between Hunting Packages.
  • No Guarantees: Our goal is to provide you with a harvested animal on top of a great hunting experience but this is a real hunt and due to nature and other factors, there are no guarantees.

A few things you need to bring:

  • Valid Hunting License
  • Gun and Ammo or Bow and hunting equipment (25 Caliber & above, over and under shotgun for Quail hunts)
  • Personal items (toiletries, etc…)
  • A comfortable pair of boots/shoes and appropriate hunting attire
  • Cooler/ice chest for the transportation of meat unless otherwise arranged
  • Binoculars
  • Tip money for guide and cook – customary but not required
